We have a holistic program that addresses each child individually. Our mission is to build confidence and love of learning, giving students a solid foundation for a healthy and happy life. We are a state licensed center that is striving towards accreditation by participationg in the Quality Rating Standards (QRS) program. Child's Play Learning Center also partners with The Family Conservancy to provide a Head Start program.
All of our staff members have passed a background screening through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, are certified in first aid and CPR, have a minimun of a Child Development Crendential as well as other extensive training in childcare and education. We are dedicated to helping each child discover their unique potential – academically, socially, and interpersonally.

History
Child's Play originated in 2005 as a family based child care home. Services were provided to children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. In 2007, Child's Play's expansion began with the relocation to Independence, MO. Presently Child's Play provides services to chidren ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. We offer a full day program, before and after school care for school age children, a preschool program, Early Head Strat and Head Start and a summer program.
